Corroded Flue Pipes
Flue gases are corrosive
If a furnace is not adjusted properly the flue gases can be corrosive. Both pictures show signs of a poorly functioning heating system. Both flue pipes need repair. In the right picture, rain water is able to go down the flue pipe and into the furnace, causing further damage to the equipment and creating a greater safety hazard.
