How is someone going to replace these shingles?
This is artificial stone. It's a thin, lightweight material that is applied into a bed of stucco on the back. It does not need support from below. There should be a gap between the stones and the shingles. Instead, the stones were applied directly on top the roof surface. This stone needs to be reinstalled so that the shingles can be replaced when the time comes.
