Hole In Siding
The Devil is in the details
The gutters got put on first. But there wasn't enough room between the gutter and the wall sheathing to install the siding so the siding installer just left a hole. Water is going to go down inside the wall — and for a house, water is the enemy. The gutter needs to be removed so the siding and trim can be fixed. The lowest piece of metal flashing just above the gutter has been cut and needs to be replaced. Then the gutter needs to be reinstalled.
