These Are Brand New Shingles!
But don't blame the roofer, it's not his fault.
This roof was fine when the roofer left, but the painters tore up the roof surface while doing their job. This roof needs to be replaced, even though the house hasn't been lived in yet. By the way, the municipal inspectors in this area don't look at roofs (after all, what could possibly be wrong with a new roof?).
