Be careful with those pots and pans
This gas shutoff is under a kitchen counter-top range. Sooner or later, pots and pans are going to damage the flexible gas connector unless it is somehow protected. When the connector does break you won't be able to shut off the gas because there isn't enough room around the gas valve to operate it.
