Low-Sloped Roofing Problems
Even new roofs can have problems
This low-sloped roof membrane is about 3 years old. The surface is holding up well, but in order to keep water out of the structure below it should have been adhered thightly to the metal flashing at the edge of the roof. Warranties from manufacturers usually only cover defects in the materials. In general, installation defects such as this are only covered if the contractor is willing to stand behind the work.
